The Apple Resort Hotel was developed as a three star resort compound erected in a site area of 72,895 square meters, has 117 rooms in existing development and will be 200 rooms in the future. As of our inspection date (18th of January 1993), the site improvements works were currently under construction.

Location

Fronting road Jalan Raya Baty - Malang

The Apple Resort Hotel is located in the main stream of Jalan Raya Malang - Batu with beautiful surroundings view and only two (2) kilometers before the famous apple-town Batu.

It is about twenty (20) minutes drive from Malang or 1,5 hours from Juanda Airport, Surabaya.

Fronting Road

The fronting road is a main road which connecting Malang to Batu, asphalted and is about ten (10) meters wide.

Surrounding Properties

The surrounding properties comprise generally Kampung houses, villas and paddy fields. Batu is about 900 meters above the sea level is well-known resort area in East Java since this town is surrounded by very beautiful view of mountains and the place for many kinds of fruit, vegetable, flower and bonsai plantations. Some of the three stars resort hotels in Batu area are:

Construction and accommodation

These comprise three (3) connecting buildings with the following construction details:

1.1	Main Building
	Structure	Two store building of reinforced concrete framed construction with bored pile foudation and provided by lagoon at the front section.
	Roof	Ceramic tiles on steel frames.
	Walls	Mainly open elevations and partly with plastered brick in fills.
	Floors	Solid concrete mainly surfaced by local marble tiles and are partly not yet surfaced.
	Ceilings	Timber framed hanger only.
	Partitions	Plastered brick walls.
	Windows	Timber framed only.
	Doors	Solid timber.
	Stairs	Spiral type of reinforced concrete framed and surfaced by local marble tiles.
	Accomodation
	Semi Basement	Office, exhibition area, a small meeting room, discotheque, lockers, Restaurant, main kitchen, coffee shop, shopping arcade and fitness center.
	Ground Floor	Main entrance, lobby area, separately convention room, sunken lounge and games room.
1.2	Wing A and B
	Structure	Wing A of two stores and Wing B of three-store building of reinforced Concrete framed construction with bored pile foundation.
	Roof	Ceramic tiles on timber frames.
	Walls	Plastered brick in fills.
	Floors	Solid concrete surfaced by local marble tiles to the corridor and ceramic tiles to all bedrooms.
	Ceilings	Gypsum boards.
	Partitions	Plastered brick walls.
	Windows	Timber framed only.
	Stairs	Spiral type of reinforced concrete framed surfaced by marble tiles.
	Bathrooms	Walls and floors are surfaced by ceramic tiles and provided by standard "Toto"sanitary equipment.
	Accomodation
	Wing A	Each floor consists of lounge, 22 standard rooms and 2 suites.
	Wing B	Each floor consists of lounge, 20 standard rooms and 3 suites.

The site is irregular in shape with the frontage, which is approximately 50 meters and the total site area is 72.985 m².

The site is undulating with the rear section is higher than the front section.
